WhatsApp is a social network that enables you to stay more connected with your friends and family members. It has interesting features such as audio chat, exchange of images, videos, music, group chat etc. "This will put your boring days in frustration". lolzzzz!
Getting this application becomes very difficult to so many people as they believe that their phones do not support it. Most people believe that only ipad, Android, Symbians and other S60 phones support it but oblivious of the fact that some S40 phones such "some" Asha phones, etc. also support it but they require some intellectual actions for its functioning.
The purpose of this blog is to uncover the secret behind the installation of WhatsApp of which I mentioned earlier as "Intellectual Actions"
The following five (5) steps explain how you can download Whatsapp in your Asha phones.
Step 1: The first step in downloading this application is to get in touch with your friend who has an already installed Whatsapp in his/her device. This is not a difficult task for there are thousands of your friends who use this application. Get in touch with them and then follow the next step.
Step 2: From your friend's device with the already installed WhatsApp, locate the application and move or copy it to his/her Memory Card i.e. if the application isn't located or stored in the Memory Card. You can then paste it in any folder or just in the Memory Card (without folder). But make sure it's pasted in the Memory Card.
Note that all these are done in your friend's phone with the already installed WhatsApp Messenger.
Step 3: After copying and pasting the application, safely remove the Memory Card from your friend's phone. And again, safely remove 'Your Own Memory Card' from your phone but before doing that, ensure you move all the files in your Phone Memory into your Memory Card so that the Phone Memory can have enough space. Now, insert your friend's into your own device.
Step 4: From your own device, locate the application from the Memory Card inserted and 'COPY' it to your Phone Memory. After doing that, you may now remove the inserted Memory Card.
Step 5: After may be the removal of the Memory Card, locate the copied application and click options, and then choose "Update Version". This will enable the application to be downloaded into your device.
In the installation process, you will encounter the following questions:
"Replace version ... with newer Version ...?"
Choose "Yes"
"Application source differs from original. Continue any way?"
"Choose Yes"
And MOST importantly,
"Keep Application Data?"
Please Choose "NO"
"Accept" the next page and wait for your WhatsApp to be downloaded.
In case you encounter any problem in this process, the video below will direct you on what to do.
That's all, but, ensure that your phone is updated and that you have a good internet and notification settings.
Enjoy Your Whatsapp!!!
